VITIÁ is a composer, concert pianist, singer-songwriter, and producer who has spent a career treating music as more than performance: as connection.

 

His musical foundation began at home in Ukraine, where his mother, concert pianist Raisa Kulish, introduced him to the piano and worked with him daily. Victor began his formal musical training in 1983, studying piano, xylophone, guitar, and trumpet with a range of dedicated teachers while continuing his piano studies with his mother. He performed regularly on Ukrainian television and with the Chernovtsy Philharmonic before later completing his studies in Vocal Arts and Recording Engineering at USC.

 

He has taught piano for over 20 years, and his very first student was his own younger brother, Kiril Kulish, who went on to become a Tony Award-winning concert pianist and Broadway actor. That early experience shaped how Victor teaches to this day, with a particular commitment to students of all ages and abilities, including children with disabilities, behavioral challenges, and attention difficulties.

 

That same belief, that music can heal as much as it performs, shapes Roots, his upcoming album of original felt-piano compositions, a collection of piano meditations designed to bring calm, presence, and emotional clarity to the listener. It also shapes how he performs live. Around San Diego, Victor leads immersive silent headphone concerts outdoors, candlelight evening piano reflections, and yoga and meditation concerts, each one built to let an audience feel the music, not just hear it.

 

His reach is growing beyond San Diego, too. Victor was recently selected for Summer Sketches, a compilation of 20 artists releasing in July 2026 on the label Ad21.
