Two sdpa Students Headed to Summer Piano Programs

Congratulations to Arianna Gago, student of Melissa Evans Tierra, who has been accepted to the Colburn Tonebase Piano Seminar this summer, and to Lalo Villodas, also a student of Melissa Evans Tierra, who has been accepted to the Baylor University Summer Piano Institute.

Both students are currently freshmen with an eye toward conservatory admissions at the end of high school, and programs like these offer more than a summer of study.

They're a chance to build relationships with university and conservatory faculty well ahead of application season, connections that can matter when it's time to audition. We're looking forward to hearing what Arianna and Lalo bring back from their summers.
